For the last 4 years, I’ve been the commissioner of a highly competitive fantasy football league. One of the rules we have is that after all the matches have been played, the person with lowest score has to film themselves downing a pint for the entertainment of the other members of the league. Sadly for me, I was the loser for the month of February so I used it as an opportunity to crack off another beer.
Pint No. 72
What? – Theakstons, Old Peculier
Where? – Challenge HQ, Putney
When? – Friday 9th March 2018
Knowing how toilet I am at downing things, I thought I’d give myself a chance of doing it at least semi-fast with an ale. Whilst I wanted to tick off a new beer for the challenge, I didn’t want to break new ground personally so I went with Theakston’s Old Peculier. Unfortunately, I really don’t have much to say about this due to the way it was consumed. It was quite nutty and fruity and had a good aroma. Also, it wasn’t too fizzy which made it perfect for seeing off.
Overall Score: 2.5/5
