Moff’s Stag

We woke in Moff’s house, had some nice breakfast before getting a mini-bus to the stag destination for the day. Wilkin’s Cider Farm in Wedmore, Somerset. I was really feeling the hangover from the night before and had a bit of a ropey trip to the farm. Getting there and having my first cider I vommed up everything I’d consumed up to that point. Good.

Pint No. 157

What? – Wilkin’s Cider

Where? – Wilkin’s Cider Farm, Somerset

When? – Saturday 2nd June 2018

The Farm has two large vats of cider, one dry and one sweet. If you ask for a medium cider, you get a mix of the two in your cup. We sampled all 3 options but for the purposes of this challenge I’m only counting it as one unique pint.

The cider itself is fucking class. Really fresh and tasty, real Somerset cider. We got through an absolute shed load and also got a platter of cheese and crackers which was the perfect accompaniment to Roger’s cider. As an experience and as cider I absolutely loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat. All that despite a hangover.

Overall Score: 4.5/5

Here’s a bonus snap of Liz Chapman enjoying the cider:
